new elementary school to replace north

At the December 2023 school board meeting, the Board delegated authority to the district administration to negotiate a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) with Pogue. The GMP is the final step in the process before breaking ground on the project. Over 260 sub-contractors submitted bids for the project. We currently plan to break ground in January.

OTHER PROJECTS

With all other projects in the final phase before construction begins, the final pieces of the 2022 bond are a new competition gym at Alvarado High School and renovations to AIS. The School Board approved the district to go forward with contract negotiations with the top ranking architect for the gym after district leadership interviewed three architect companies on Monday.
